The Somar Eluma is different to other energy saving lighting formats, incorporating a sensor in each light that adjusts the light level according to the ambient light levels. The occupancy sensors turn off lighting in unused areas of the warehouse, whilst the instant strike of the lights mean that once movement is detected the lights come straight back to full power, without the aggravation of waiting for the globes to warm up. Each light is fully programmable via an RF remote control. This means all adjustments can be made from the safety of solid ground.
After the hassle free installation of the Somar Eluma energy efficient lighting, Independent Distillers will reduce their lighting power consumption by over 77%. Which in turn will reduce their lighting costs by at least $28,000 a year. This means a quick return on investment, whilst cutting emissions by around 40 tonnes per year.
